Tailwind Wins Wellington Region’s Best Small Business!

Tailwind was proud to be judged the winner of Best Small Business at the 2025 2Degrees Wellington Regional Business Excellence Awards! 🎉🥳🍾

The awards are a long-running annual event organised by the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce. The gala dinner was hosted at the Lower Hutt Events Centre on Friday 22 November. The whole Tailwind team was there to receive the award. It was an incredible night!

Last year we attended the awards with the lovely Arrow Uniforms team as they were inducted into the Hall of Fame and we came away super inspired by the number of amazing businesses represented across the Wellington Region. All finalists are announced with a business profile video on the big screens and, with many of our clients past winners or Hall of Fame members, we made it a goal to enter the 2025 awards and at least become a finalist.

We are extremely happy to have achieved this goal! The awards submissions are assessed by a panel of judges so it is particularly gratifying to see Tailwind recognised in this way by a panel of business peers.  

Big thanks to the HVCC team for organising such a fantastic awards event. And to our fellow finalists — we truly didn’t expect to win against the high calibre of competition. You are all incredible businesses. 

Finally, thanks to all of our customers and fans who voted for us for the People’s Choice Award. We didn’t win that award but we were moved by the overwhelming support from all of you to vote for us. That’s better than any award. 🙏
