Queenstown-based celebrant Jason Medina was getting prepared to launch his own business when he asked us to help him build a brand package that portrayed his passion and positive energy.

Our design solution focused on converting large portions of information into small, digestible sections with plenty of breathing room and paced with imagery, to make the content easy to skim over.

We pulled some business cards out from our archives to show a client a couple of examples... Turns out we have quite the collection!

After designing this community hub's branding, Tailwind was tasked with creating an effective wayfinding system and implementing a strong visual identity throughout the Te Kupenga o Rongomai building.

We chose to highlight the business's beautiful location, Australia's Sunshine Coast, with a palette of sandy golden hues and crystalline water. The logo incorporates a geometric 'W' and 'C', the latter shaped like a wave form with gradients to evoke the shimmering quality of the sea and sand.

We absolutely loved the process of learning and working closely with council advisors and te ao Māori experts to craft an identity that honours Te Kupenga o Rongomai’s name.

We responded to our client's brief by steering away from sharp angles and aggressive colours, opting instead for an approachable lower case logotype and memorable gradient green/blue palette..

We kept pink at the forefront of Simply Safety's new brand and came up with the following concept: Simply Safety is like the laces to your boots, providing structure and safety to your business.
