We love to reflect the passion and professionalism of a business with great branding! Jan and Bill Peryer of Goldes Developments came to us with the goal of giving their business a high-end and subtle visual identity. They’d been running for years under the radar, so we relished the opportunity to highlight what they are about!
The result is a brand that combines these attributes:
The wordmark is set in a chiselled serif font, has a classic and contemporary feel to convey the enduring quality of Goldes homes as well as Jan and Bill's history and commitment to Upper Hutt. It stands out amongst their peers and achieves their goal of a subtle but memorable brand.
This is paired with a small and subtle icon that feels architectural without being too literal. Its location at the end of the mark allows the overall brand to feel grounded, pragmatic, and authentic. It can be used as a device to punctuate brand statements and as a base for brand patterns. And its simplicity allows it to work well as a fine outline to expand your visual palette.
The colour palette comprises a charcoal base that achieves a high-end, high-contrast appearance, paired with a rustic gold accent colour that gives your overall brand a grounded but premium look.
Following the brand process, we designed some stunning business cards that were printed in a high-end letterpress format with gold foil by the fantastic experts at Valley Print. These are backed up with some sharp e-mail signatures so that all client communication represents the company well.
Then we built a clean and simple website to communicate what the company is about and draw attention to their properties coming soon and for sale, as well as some signboards to stand proud at the front of any properties under development or for sale.
